Ok so I finally got my Xenon, I wanted 8000k (Iceberg Blue) but when you look at them, they look like there are 12000k (Exotic Violet) so decided I to snap a few pictures to attach to my email and they look like the Kelvin that I wanted. Anyone else notices this or is it just me?

At the naked eye they look like this

Well, I've seen a lot of the colored HID bulbs come in a color other than the buyer wanted. I doubt the pictures are ever really correct or the sellers, who typically don't even speak Engrish, send the right ones out when they're ordered... Now, the 4300 and 6000 usually don't cause many problems... but order the 8000, 10000, or 12000, and it's more or less pot luck as to what you get.... Good luck if you try to contact the seller about it. :D

Thanks BlackBeauty that answer my question. In the photos I took they look the same as the seller had in there photos. I wasn't worried about the light output, but more towards the color that they produced. I drive mostly city, but there is still more light output compared to my stalk bulbs. My truck has been a payment diva for awhile, in need of some A/T tires, the SR-A don't get any traction even just driving around at the quarries.

They look like 8k to me...I have owned a couple set of HID's on different cars and all have been 8000k. that is pretty true to the 8k tempature.

The way they look in the Photos I took looks different then the way they actually look to the naked eye, they look like they could be 12000K, but when I took the pictures it made them look like the where 8000K.

they ARE 8k. like i said people don't realize how blue those things really are.

i have 4300 and 6k in the other vehicle. the 6k are bloody blue.

now, if you've ever seen 12k in person, you will never forget it. yours are solid 8
