I removed the overhead compartment closest to the map lights. Now I have a spring loose that I'm not sure which side it came from and how it was positioned?

All help is appreciated.

Did you fix this? If not I think I can help. Just had the whole assembly out for radar install and had to put it back.

Second picture show where the top of the spring should be rested at once installed.

when i got my truck it was missing that door, i have no idea what it looks like or is called ,right now it's just a opening and everyone asks me about it. lol

I don't see just the door here but maybe you could call them. They are a dealership in Texas.

I had a similar incident when the sunglass holder stuck shut. To get it open I had to pop the latch. I removed the whole door and it fell apart as I took it down. I didn't have a spring installed. I put it back together with JB weld and decided to let it set for a few days before reinstalling. Hopefully this will hold. I'll post an update when I reinstall the door. Good luck to all!

JB Weld held perfectly! Reinstalled the sunglass holder this morning without any trouble.

One thing I do is to watch ebay every now and then they have the overhead consoles listed. I bought one to fix my step-son's 06 KC and used the rest to fix my broken sunglass holder.
