I haven't but I used to do that for a hobby :)

Not sure which truck you got, but there is some nice room under the bench seat setup for a linear amp etc...

Chris

I ordered the Crew cab LE Smoke.
Looks to be ample room...probably will get an Icom 706 and use a SGC tuner, but curious about conflict between 100 watt transceiver and the many computers on board the Titan.
Nissan USA said to contact local service.
Local service does not know.

Both my radios fit perfectly in the cooler between the seats.

I have not done an install yet, still trying to figure out the antenna setup. I might get the ladder rack for the bed and use that, but then I could not put a cover on the bed. Hmmm....

Prob, will just set them back up in the garage and keep it as a base station. QRP portable is easy to setup with the bed.

Should get the vehicle in late May-June.
My thought now is to use an SGC tuner in combination with a Tenna Hitch and 102" stainless steel whip. KN4KL has a similar setup that works great.
Will advise further.

I'm a ham, but have no HF gear currently. :( W3SPC
Its always interesting trying to install radios in new cars.
VHF glass mount will be easy. HF will be more of a challenge.
I will not get this truck until late May-June so I have time to think about it.
