So this one is a bit embarrassing....but how do you get at the bulbs in the high mount stop and cargo lights in a king cab?

The workshop manual strangely only covers crew cab (or if it is meant to cover KC as well I'll be stuffed if I understand....)

I had a good poke around but don't want to break something that is hard to replace here by levering in the wrong place. It looks like there are 2x M6 bolts which undo from the outside of the truck after looking under the headlining but I can't work out where it seperates on the outside....

There are a couple "plugs" above the rear window (on the inside). Pop those off and you'll see the nuts that have to be loosened to take the light off. I forget the size but you'll need a deep socket wrench.

Once you take those two nuts off the light will come right out. Be careful reinstalling and don't over tighten the nuts as you'll break the light by pulling the bolts out the back of it.

they are 8mm

thanks guys, those instructions were perfect. I did have a look under the headlining but obviously need to check my glasses....
