Any air leak could cause it. Look for any loose parts, grab abd psh on the intake manifold or throttle body, but not too hard. With it in Park, and the parking brake on, have someone else rev the engine. Maybe you'll be able to pinpoint it, if everything else is quiet.

Shame it isn't because you'd put a supercharger on it, and were just teasing us!
