Got hit in the rear end again. Two big differences this time is it was in a parking garage and the gentleman that did the damage, left a note. He has been so nice about it all that I'm not even mad, at all. Of course his credit card insurance only covers his rental and not the other car so he will have to out of pocket for a new light. The problem is with the truck no longer in production, parts are getting harder to find. Ebay? Sure, if you don't mind salvage yard scratched up replacements or over priced new (if you can find em). Dealership and all the online Nissan parts houses are either backordered or not available. Z1 Offroad can have a new light in a few weeks for less than I have been able to find anywhere else. The scuff marks we will take care of ourselves. We'll call it a teaching moment for the grandson to increase his automotive repair toolbox. To make matters worse, his dad was rear ended last Saturday with the offender car being totaled, damage to his truck front and rear when he was pushed into the car ahead (which might get totalled too). Grandson is getting a education for sure.
