Hitch bolts

Anybody know what size bolts for mounting the hitch. I tried the hardware store but they didn't have the right threads. Also when I look under the hood where the relays go, the brown one is alreay there, but the slot where the other tow relay goes doesn't have anything for the relay to plug into. The wiring is there at the rear.

I can't tell you what size they are, but I know they are hard to find. I while back I found some at a specialty bolt store and they fit tight. You may be better off going to the stealership for bolts.

Good Luck
Make sure you put a little anti-sieze on them(the hitch bolts) and torque them to factory spec's...Maybe someone here knows the torque spec's, but you could ask the dealer who sold you the bolts.
Even if you find the correct size bolts(I keep thinking 12mm 1.25 pitch) you need the correct grade. I'm sure it's no lower then a 10.9
The grade will be stamped on the head of the bolt.
They are 12mmx1.25x40mm I got mine at the Toyota dealer....the guy gave them to me but he probably wouldn't have if he had seen what they were for....lol funny because I put loctite on mine
I pick up my tow hitch on Craigslist for $40 but it did not come with the bolts but i went to U-Haul and pick up a blot kit the kit number is 78274 for $15with the kit it give you (6)1/2 washers and (6) m12-1.25x40mm hex Bolts and the torque 65 lb-ft.I also needed to relay the dealer wanted $50 for them but U-haul had a relay kit #13804 for $24.95 it covers from 2004-current. Hope this help out some one.
