Hitch setup for a Gooseneck Horse Trailer?

3386 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  IDAHOTITANMAN
I just bought my 2008 LE Kingcab longbed last week. I currently have a bumper-pull horse trailer but am planning on buying a gooseneck in the next year. My trailer guy said there was currently no one (B&W incl) making a gooseneck hitch for the Titan because of issues in the past...is this true?

I looked at some of the old posts here too, but they were all for pre-2008 Titans

Thanks

Don't know if Nissan changed frame hole locations for the '08 longbed, but B&W does make turnovers for the Titan. They list them on their website for '04-'07. Why not just contact B&W? http://www.turnoverball.com/info.asp#

I almost went for THIS but we probably will only need bumper pull. 99% sure that's a B&W, it's laying upside down in the pic.

This is on B&W's website right now:

B&W Engineers work on new model to fit 2008 Nissan Titan Long Bed
The 2008 Nissan Titan Longbed utilizes a larger fuel tank than the short beds manufactured prior to the 2008 model. Because of this, our engineers are making modifications that would allow our current Nissan hitch (model 1204) to be used on the 2008 long beds.
Have them put a set of reese rails in your bed, and then you can buy the "Goose" I have one they work great.. If you dont mind having the rails in your bed....
