At the urging of Wally, I am making this thread to show my homemade "bullbar." We used 2" O.D. quarter wall steel tubing and made 4 bends in it, each 70 degrees with a hydraulic tube bender. Then, I put it in a vice and rattle canned it black. We used some steel flat stock to make brackets to bolt it up to the tow hook holes, as well as the light tabs.

Check it out, and let me know what ya think. I told the guy who helped me make it that once I posted pics of it, he could probably get rich selling them on the internet, LOL.

Oh yeah, total cost was...well we'll keep that quiet for now. Let's see if anyone is interested or not.

It's pretty damn solid, so I imagine if someone needed to pull me out from being stuck it would do the trick. In the future, I can also fab up a winch mount. I am going to be putting 3 of these on it:

3 questions come to mind:
1) what is total cost if someone wanted to have one made?
2) can it be done with Stainless Chrome tubing?
3) Are the tow hooks removed in place of this or do they stay?

Tow hooks aren't as important but would be nice.

Darryl, there is no SE test. A Titan is a Titan, they all have the holes for the tow hooks so, yeah. But perhaps the next prototype will be coming your way. As far as cost goes, I am still doing some more research and stuff. I don't want to sell anything in the inappropriate forum, but it's looking somewhere around $139 (black) and $159 (chrome). We'll see though, gotta talk to my fab guy.
