Throwing this out there to see what happens. I am de-chroming my 05 SE Titan. I bought a used XE silver front bumper but it is missing alot of parts. Please see this thread here.

So, here is what I am proposing...if you are in the Houston area and wish to upgrade your Silver XE front bumper to the silver/chrome SE bumper pictured below, I will sell you my SE bumper with all necessary parts to mount to your XE (SE and XE front bumper mounts are completely different as you can see from link above) for $200. In exchange, I will need some of your XE mounting parts that I am missing (which you will no longer need). In addition, I will throw in installation on my driveway for free. You just have to drive here. I estimate 1 - 2 hours tops for the swap since I have some experience doing this now.

If I have no takers, I will resort to rigging the XE bumper to mount onto my truck, and then still sell my SE bumper later.

why dont u just paint the chrome bumber i had mine done like that ... they sanded the chrome primer then paint

In hind-sight, yes, that probably would have been the easier way to go. My original assumption was that the XE bumper would have been a direct bolt-on and I would then resell my SE bumper. But that didn't turn out to be the case. Thanks for the free bump
