Can someone tell me if the stock speakers in a base unit (06 Titan SE Crewcab) are setup in a component-like configuration w/ built-in crossovers?
Are the stock speakers full-range?
Is it best to replace them w/ component speakers if I am keeping the head unit?
I bought RF full range speakers for the doors and they are too bright.
I have not replaced the rear speakers but all the bass seems to be coming from the rear, which are distorting.
I am assuming that all door speakers from the factory are full-range and there is nothing limiting the frequencies that go there.
