Hello all!

I’ve been trying to find a dealer that will allow me to place a custom order for a Pro-4X. It’s impossible. They either just say ‘no’ or they say Nissan isn’t taking orders or simply hang up when I say ‘I’ve seen your inventory, you don’t have what I want’. Are all dealers this crap with potential customers?! Any advice or lead on a dealer that doesn’t have their head up their asa would be gratefully received!!

If you go to the Nissan north America site, does it let you?

I sort of built/custom ordered my Titan back in 2007. I went to the Nissan website and built my Titan the way I wanted it, including color. I then sent that off to an auto broker, who was a friend of mine. He has access to nationwide inventories and found my exact build and I had it a few days later. Nissan's build options are a lot more limited than say Ford, so that helped a lot. If he hadn't found it already built, he could have submitted an order for me.

That said, order banks do close. That happened for the 2023 Ford Super Duty. Order banks opened and were flooded and a few weeks later Ford had enough orders to fulfill their Job 1 process and they closed the order bank. My auto broker has a good enough working relationship with dealers that they aren't going to give him any BS.

Is your auto broker looking for a new long distance friend by any chance? I’m in SoCal, could he help me out by any chance?
