Since my Titan is my first truck since 2001 I have to admit I'm a doucheb*g when parking it; mostly when there's plenty of space around me; there's this one restaurant I frequent (don't tell the wife) I go there for the corn dogs 2 for $2; they are the best, (my cholesterol is a little high) when I go there I have a tendency to pull up and park wherever, it's pretty obnoxious I'll take 2 parking spots and not even think about it, you know it's like just throw it in somewhere doesn't really matter where, there's plenty of space....

Anyway my questions is. How do you park your Titan ???

How do we park? In a parking space like everyone else....lol. You get used to its size. Just back into the spot and use the rear sonar to help. But don't do the 2 space parking thing...you're just asking to have the truck scratched or keyed.

Wheels down..... shiny metal side up....

I tend to park in the outfield when I go places... Taking up two parking spots anywhere, anytime is just asking to be keyed.....

first off i park as far away as possible (since nobody cares about my vehicle).. and then i always try and back in since its much easier to pull out forward. if i can i try and get next to a curb cause that one less side to possibly get door dings on.. yea i am obsessed with how good my truck looks

+1. I also agree with the comments on taking up 2 spots. That really pisses people off.

The only people that pisses off are the f*ckheads who love to shoehorn their Suburban anywhere it will fit. God forbid the lazy c**ts who drive those things have to walk an extra 30 feet. Might do their fat asses some good. They're the same c*ck-sucking bunch who push their buggy through Walmart for 3 hours, filling it chock full of sugary goods for their ADD riddled offspring only to leave the cart right in front of their land yacht. It amazes me how one can push a cart through a store and not walk it to the cart return several parking places away. It's worthless sh*tbags like them that are why I have 2 doors dings; not because I care enough about my vehicle to take 2 spaces at the end of the lot, furthest from the store.

Between the lines. With the odd exception spaces seem to be big enough to fit the Titan around here. Yet, people with much smaller cars still have trouble getting between the lines or getting in straight. If you can't even park, you shouldn't be driving!

I like to park next to someone in a premium car because I think they are more likely to respect other cars around them than some douche in a crappy domestic POS.

AVOID MINIVANS and low-end SUVs - someone's precious little snowflake snot-nosed brat will throw open a door and whack your truck and mommy will look the other way because HER child would NEVER do that!

Thats fun stuff.... you left out the lazy idiots that drive round & round the parking lot trying find one up front, just to keep from walking 30 extra yards.

Best is to find 2 spaces in front of each other, and pull through to the second space. It gives you room to get it straight, and an easier and much safer exit. As always, try to avoid backing up, too much blind spot, especially with little ones walking by.

If parking further away to find such a spot makes things safer, then be willing to do that, and smile. You're doing the right thing, and protecting the Titan! :)
