I replaced by stock stock Goodyears (275/60/20) with 295/60/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers at 8K. After the new tires, the truck handled great and the and the ride was very smooth. I am now at 10,500 miles and the truck now feels sloppy around corners and over bumps. I have checked the tires and they have the right pressure, so I am thinking that the additional weight of the tires have killed the shocks.

Anyone else have this experience?

that seems pretty fast! I just replaced my stock struts after having 35's for 70k miles. Made a huge differance, I'm stoked. Bilstein 5100's is what I'd recommend.

While the somewhat heavier tires (those tires are lighter then many out there...) might have accelerated the shock wear, the stock shocks are such junk it's kind of moot...

Mine didnt make it long after the 325/60-18 Nittos went on...I need to replace all 4 on mine, the ride quality has really gone south and the handling is terrible.

My stock shocks were shot at around 12,000 miles
