I have a 2008 Titan and I think it is called a crew cab. I think the bed measures about 5'8" long inside the tailgate. I wish I could find the window sticker that was on it on the lot! I don't know where to find this exact info.

As for the GVWR, the manual said it should be on the door post but I don't see it. Although, there is a smeared area that I can't read. It does say the weight capacity of passengers and cargo is 1,874 lbs.

I am considering buying a pop-up slide-in truck camper and it weighs 1,103 lbs and I am trying to figure out if I can haul it. Or if I need stiffer springs or something, or stiffer tires.

How do I find out what the GVWR is?

Many will do it and some here have them, but if you add the weight of the Slide in and all passengers and gear, you will likely be way over the GVWR, and handling is not as forgiving. In an accident; even a minor fender bender, that technicality can negate your insurance coverage. Slide ins are best on a 3/4 ton chassis. My 2 cents....

If you do it, then...Anti Sway Bar on the rear and Air Bags or other spring enhancement.

GVWR can also be found in an owners manual, which can be downloaded if you don't have the original. Google and you'll find it. Your bed is 5" 7" long. Crew Cab has 4 doors that all open in similar fashion, as opposed to rear doors opening backwards. That would be an Extended Cab. 2008 I think (long time ago now), is when Nissan introduced a heavier rear axle midway through the year. That is why you will see reference to 2008+, for they are the later production. Higher GVWR came with it.

There are reasons
1- You don't see pop up campers anymore.
2- If you do they will be in the back of a 3/4 or 1 ton and usually duallies.

I just sat on I17 for 2 hrs because someone carrying a in bed camper blew a tire & flipped his F350. The camper ended on the road & took out a 4runner.
