I did the same thing. lol I just hope I don't have to change the alt or the starter. I had to change an alt in my sons merc cougar a few years ago. holy crap it was a feat in it self just to find it let alone get it out. This is why I still haven't installed my headers. Way too much crap in the way of the thing that will brake and is normal, like starter, alt, ps pump. even the serp. belt. Its not bad if its not your dd but when you have to get it back on the road next day that's when it p u o.I just went outside to take a look at the position, and damn that does seem like a pretty tight spot. I then figured since im already out there why not go for a lap around the neighborhood, damn I love this truck.
