Hey, just bought a 2007 Nissan Titan XE CC 4X4 Tow and was wondering if there was a "Tell Tale" sign to know if my truck has KEYLESS entry. When I bought it, it didn't come with a Keyfob for keyless entry but.... Thanks!

I think all Titans have keyless.. or all titans except XE KC modles that DONT have power windows/locks. (XE CC has power windows/locks standard)

Do you have the power roll down rear window? 6 disc cd player? If so, you likely have the Preferred Package, hence you have keyless entry. Keyless is NOT standard on the CC XE, only with the Preferred Package, IIRC.

You can always try to program a key fob, and that will tell you if its available. Its a series on inserting and removing your key 8 times IIRC. If you do that and your hazzards flash, then your truck is set up for keyless entry, you just need to buy a fob. You can get them from courtesy parts, or on ebay.

If you throw a rock through your window and you can get inside, you have keyless entry.

Yeah when I bought my 07 titan 4wd Cc, I thought it had keyless but it turned out that it didn't. A 2007 vehicle without keyless?? Yeah well I thought it was a joke. Turns out I had to get an aftermarket alarm for my truck. BTW I have power windows and doorlock, cruise and power rear window. But no power mirrors or OEM keyless. :bangit:
Good luck, hopefully it has the keyless, if not you can get an alarm that does everything the OEM keyless does and more for 150-200 installed.

You probably had/have the single disc AM/FM/CD as well, right? No Preferred Package = no keyless entry.

Since all CC Titans have the power rear slider including the XE, how can you get a CC w/o power windows?

You can't HVT. You can get a Titan that has power locks/windows, single disc player, and no keyless entry.

Correct sir. Still lame. Keyless entry is like A/C nowadays it should be standard not an option IMO.

keyless entry and power rear window is an option that is included in the preferred package for the 06s and 07s. all CC XEs have power windows, but not positive his may have it. Do you have the 6 CD changer, a long overhead console, sliding rear window? that should indicate preffered package.

you'll understand when you have a serious girlfriend or a wife.
When shopping for my ex fiancees car, had to have keyless because if she's out at night alone for wahtever reason, I'd rather have her have panic button and easy unlock button, then having to fumble around with keys trying to unlock the door the old fashion way.

nowadays, a car alarm is a nusaince and no one pays attention, even if it is honking nonstop, no one will come to see if anything is okay. yelling "fire" or "rape" works a little better.

Though I like using the panic button in parking lots. When walking into or out of a store, if I see someone walking infront of my truck, out comes the lil red button :redblob"
