I have a 2007 se and my ac blower suddenly quit working. I looked over several threads and found the vbc variable blower control might be the problem so I ordered one and it didn't work. I checked the fuses and the seem good unless I missed one. I started looking closer and I found that there are no lights working on any of the knobs. Nothing when you push the ac or defrost buttons. I took the panel apart for inspection but nothing jumped out as it is just a printed circuit board. Anyone had this problem and a solution?

Just a quick note to let others know that the problem was the control unit in the dash. I snagged a used one on ebay for $110 and luckily it worked. Easy repair. Pull the control panel that houses the radio and hvac controls off starting at the top and unhook 6 connectors. To remove the hvac control board you will need a small star drive (not sure what size). Pull the the rings surrounding the knobs straight off and then pull the knobs straight off. ak.

Did you have any issues installing the new board? I bought a used controller for my 06 se and the engine won't turn over (or even attempt to) with it installed. Disconnect the new controller and the truck starts right up...
