Well, I will be the first to admit I said I would always "buy American", and never thought twice about looking at a foreign car. Had to take my 05 Ram in for some service the other day and while I was waiting I walked across the street to check on a new Altima for the wife. Ended up seeing a Pro-4X in the lot, which ended in a test drive. After two days of walking out and call backs I was able to get into it for the same monthly payments as my Ram, along with a "free" extended warranty. Granted I was a little upside down on my Ram but with a significant lowering of my APR (1.9) it worked out the same. Now I have a new truck for the same price (in my mind, monthly anyway) as my Ram. Dealership was great, except the finance guy who seemed shady, but I guess that is his job in a way.

First impression, like night and day. Drives like a car, not a large truck. Only con I can think of is the rear seating is not at big as my Ram. VDC and rear backing alerts drive me nuts, but both can be turned off, and i'll get used to them. I am finding new items and gadgets on this truck each time I drive it. Love the XM and will love the Bluetooth I am sure. It has less HP but the torque off the line is great. MPG is about the same and I suppose could get better along the way. Interior isnt even in the same class as my Ram. Suspension is a little stiff, but thats ok with me. I take a lot of hunting and fishing trips so it will come in handy. I did not know this was the first year for the Pro-4X, had a couple of Titan owners approach me asking me about it. All and all a sweet truck and worth every penny.

Ahhhhh another convert...lol..congrats and welcome! You mentioned less rear seat room so I assume you had the Dodge Mega cab because Dodges regular crew cab is MUCH smaller than the Titan. And dyno-wise, The HEMI isn't putting out the claimed HP numers. In fact, the Titan has more HP and torque. I've always loved the Rams cool semi truck looks and I almost bought one years ago but back then it wouldn't tow our travel trailer.
Again, congrats and stick around...the mod bug is gonna creep up on you!
Unless you had a mega cab or bought a KC, The Titan is bigger than a Ram in the back seat.

Ditto exactly what he^^^^^^^^^^^^said.
Congrat's on your new Truck, you'll never look back
I had a Quad Cab, not a Mega. Maybe it is bigger, but after putting in the baby seat it just seems smaller. Yeah, the mod bug is already creepin.....:evillaugh
Congrats on purchasing the Titan, but I need to correct you. You just purchased an 80% American made truck (The Titan) while you were driving around in a POS made in mexico by a bunch of fence jumpers (The Ram). Again congrats, you'll love it.

LMAO...Fence jumpers? The Ram isn't as POS though. None of todays pickups can be considered pieces of shlt. Some are better than others and have more content for the $$$ and others offer more configurations to better suit different needs but none are really crap. They'll all pretty much do what they're made for in reletive comfort and reliability.
Welcome to the club! You will love this truck.. Once it wakes up or you pop a few "go-mods" on it, you'll definitely like it better than your Ram... Your Ram owning buddies won't like you dusting them though! Just take it easy on them... Some need to learn the hard way...

Good luck with it and enjoy the ride!

POS Ram I don't think so. I have an 04 Titan and my son has an 04 Ram. His Ram has not seen the service department yet. My Titan, now that's a different story. You can be as proud as you want of your Titan, but that Ram is far from a POS.
Congrats on the Pro4X. Great package to drive. Great year to buy too, all early kinks seem gone, should be a very good truck to have. Oh, you will look back, to admire it day after day. :)

I agree with you, I have an 04 titan and my friends dad has an 04 ram, neither of us have seen the service dep besides for when I got new axel seals and my TrueTrac put in but I didnt go to the stealership, and another one of my friends dad has a new 08 ram that his work gave to him, all of them are nice trucks.
Congrats on the Titan...Welcome to the dark side!!!!:gunz:
Ill post up a pic once I get to 15 posts. I never really had trouble with my Dodge and really liked it. Like someone else said. Unless you get a lemon they are all really good trucks.
God I hope Nissan doesn't start letting Chrysler build their trucks......
