i was reading about the coolant t/b bypass . just for grins what about using those same ports to cool the t/b? in crude form a ******* :teeth: styrafoam ice chest full of ice and water or bagged dry ice and water and a small pump to circulate . or maybe an electric compressor run by an inverter and wrap the t/b in tube or drill a t/b spacer .400 and and use it like an evaporator, gas flashing at the right rate and temp would make vapor for the compressor. anyways ideas can stem other ideas and there are some intelligent gear heads here and almost all of us have titans so we can post and try mods that we find here . :computern

Thrust Titan and RB's have a water jacket around the PGM they sell that yields some proven HP gains so you should check it out over at CT.

If the link does not work, search The Throttle Body intercooler.

ive read alot of where this does or does not work - keep in mind that your ambient air temp is going to come up when it gets to the throttle body and into the intake mainfold regardless of disconnecting the tubing from the throttle body - the reason why ....look at where the throttle body and intake manifold sit - right on top of the heat source - your running engine ....idealy cooler air into the engine will make more power - i.e running a cold air system, doing a NOS install is the more extreme way to go, unfortunately your gains by removing the coolant hose are minimal and you probably wouldnt really see the gain unless you were on a dyno
