I've posted threads in here under a different profile before but I couldn't remember my profile info. I have a 2004 Titan LE that is having transmission issues. Whenever I shift it into any gear the truck isn't moving at all. I'm getting rev but no movement. I just filled my tranny fluid and let it run through and it still won't move. I have a very small leak in the pan underneath and another small leak in one of the hoses but not enough that it should leak 5 quarts of tranny fluid in 30 minutes. Help me out.

You need a new transmission.

A leaking line on the pressure side can empty the trans very quickly.

J, sounds like this may have happened right after you did a transmission fluid drain and fill? If so, make sure you run the truck for a while (check for leaks - you will see it if you have a major one), foot on the brake, shift it through all gears to circulate the ATF, then recheck the level. Could just be too low.

If that doesn't get it, then I'm afraid Jesse is right.

Did you check your linkage? Does the truck roll as if in neutral while in gear even though no power?

Won't move at all in reverse and I'm drive if I give it a little gas it'll go forward
