I need Sway Bar help...

First of all, is it worth putting aftermarket sway bars on a stock suspension? If so, what are some good brands of sway bars that they make for the Titan 4x4? Thanks for your help!

There's only two that I know of, Stillen and Hellwig.
I have a hellwig and love it. I bought it for $175 shipped.

Question for your though...Do you do much offroading in the 4x4? If so it might limit your articulation. But if it's occasional then I'd get one. To date still one of the best mods I've bought and "0" problems.

No, I don't Offroad at all. I got the 4x4 because it gets a little slippery at the boat ramps. Do you have a front or rear sway bar upgrade?
nope, yanked my swaybar off... articulates better when i go offroading and although it leans just a tad more whilst cornering, its neglible and worth it!!!

Just a "tad"?....Seems like with the size of it, it would lean more then that...:upsidedow

Everybody's feel on what's a tad and whats a bunch is different, I was just taking a shot at hooligan for fun!
I keep toying with the idea , so one of these days i'll just have to try it myself and only then can I decide...

LOL, a bit more than a tad, but with the heavier springs greg matched with mee SAWs it somewhat negates the lean. seriously! i took mine off almost a year ago and have never looked back. its quite an improvement for offroading and hitting anything uneven and pummeling Johnson Valley at high speeds was a great way to see what an improvement it was. i was hesitant at first but Greg, Kartman and SDtitan convinced me to give it a shot. they couldn't have been more right about the improved offroadability with it off!!!
I have the stillen front sway bar and it feels great at high speeds in and out of traffic. Not much on the offroad i only have a 4x2.

i have a 4x2 as do a shatload of others that offroad like madmen. PRG's titan is 4x2 and can offroad better than any other's here. also depends on what type of offroading you do. slow boring mudbogging of course would recommend 4x4 but even then having no sway bar is an advantage.
To each thier own,I like mine.
I installed the Stillen larger front and rear sway bar (the 4x4 does not come with a rear sway bar). MUCH better handling and very little body roll compared to before upgrade, particularly when pulling a trailer in the mountains. You will loose rear axle articulation however. If axle articulation is a concern, simply install a quick disconnect in rear....
