Well guys i posted a thread about a vibration that happen when i went offroad. Well i took it to the stealership and they told me that they need to replace the bearing joint or somewhat thingy that hold the two shafts. since it was beryl even holding on they said i could take it and bring it Thursday when the part arrive but if anything happen while the time being it would cause more problems if the shaft broke off completely....so i left it their...ugh!!! im gonna miss my Titan for two full days :( well doesnt anybody know if the offroading may of cause this to happen?? cause if i recall ive felt the truck vibrate in some occasions long ago but just ignore it. Maybe Loufish or CL 8 2WD can answer my question of WHY?? this could of happen since they seem to know a lot

Sounds like your carrier bearing, you need a drop bracket if you lift more than 2". Here's a link.

Without the bracket your ujoints can get into a bind and fail. Probably what happened i would guess.

I went with a cheaper one but the link above is the easiest one to install. Who did your lift?

PS, Here's the link to the cheaper one. Cheaper but harder to install, its a tradeoff.

Yes sir! The bracket drops the carrier bearing a little bit, relieving the crazy angles on the drive shaft. This is exactly what you need if you have more than 2'' of lift and you dont have one yet. Get on the phone with Greg at prg, he is the man, he'll hook you up. I believe they are down south too so maybe you can meet him in person.
