My stock exhaust cracked ,so I installed Banks Monester exhaust yesterday and already have Stillen long tube headers, But after I drive my car for 1 day I thought it's a little bit loud for my taste!!
So what I can do?
Is there any silencer can be install it with this exhaust?? since selling this exhaust is not an option !! :ftard:

this is funny to me only because the Banks is one of THE loudest catbacks for this truck... or is the loudest catback besides like a custom spintech or something... and longtubes definitely don't make for a quiet truck either really and intakes don't help... um, besides adding reso's or a muffler swap or changing catbacks ur option is get rid of the headers

I like the sound, but I just want it to be a little bit quiter
I have been told that fox shop can swap it with silence muffler, I will see them soon.

i had the same problem after installing the banks after the stillen headers.. the muffler is not the problem.. install the high flow cats into a 2.25 midpipe and it'll take away the ghettoness of the sound.. but yea it'll still be loud but wont sound like total garbage

Sounds like somebody opened his wallet before properly researching his options and figuring out what he wanted. Screw that quiet ****!!! WTF?!?!? Why spend $1300+ and then figure out you don't like it? I say, stick with the exhaust, but drop a bit more $change$ and just sound deaden the interior. It's not hard and it will make the cabin so much quieter......

Put another quiet muffler after the banks muffler with a electric cut out in between them, best of both worlds.

My brother had a banks exhaust on his old Titan....sounded great and pissed off the neighbors. Before the banks he had replaced the stock muffler with a Hooker Aerochamber it wasn't near as loud as the banks at idle and normal driving but sounded awesome at WOT. Last time I looked on jegs.com the Aerochamber was $60.

Like others have said, add a resonator inline. Try a Sebring resonator. They make 3" resonators in multiple lengths depending on what sould level you want and on the plus side, they will make the exhaust note deeper.
