I wouldn't sweat it at all, if anything were to happen, it would happen waay down the road. Ive been running a lift for over 20k miles and (knock on wood) have had no issues that were ever related directly to have my truck sitting higher or on bigger tires. The cst lift is very friendly to our trucks. Good parts that work in sync with the truck will help everything last longer. Do a deaver spring pack instead of blocks, some traction bars to keep things solid, and carrier bearing drop bracket and a driveshaft spacer for the back. The stock shocks are crap with larger tires so down the road consider some 2.5" diameter coilovers with new upper control arms, they will also help with the handling of the truck. Also a good lift without tires is right around 3k if not more. Or be patient and scout the buy/sell section on here. I got most of my main lift components from other members at 1/2 the retail price.
