That sucks, but maybe you can get them to buy you a aftermarket bumper.
Glad you're ok and they will make her perfect again. We had a similar minor accident with our new Pathfinder this summer and you'd never know it happened now. Good luck.

my wife hit the other side of our bumper in the ATM line at the bank thank goodness that our bumpers have individual pieces i finagled the metal bumper back in to place and bought the side piece for $60.00 at the stealership had it painted fixed like new for only $160.00 most expensive was getting it painted
That sux, man! I tell ya, there is no end to stupid drivers when there's precipitation on the roads... I got through some nasty stuff the other day coming from work... Just passed a rearender in the other lane at the end of a bridge that was all ice, and as I was traversing the bridge, the knuckleheads coming at me were braking and spinning and twirling all around me because of the wreck behind me in their lane..... I barely got by without an Escalade wiping me out..... He took out both sides of the bridge abutments though as he spun past my rear bumper. Too close for my comfort but at least it made the Caddy look a bit better... Oh, that's mean... :thedevil:

Hope you get it fixed up and soon.
Sucks! I never worry about myself in the winter but I hate driving around other morons...
i was suppose to go wheeling this weekend, but without my titan, i was unable to tow my rig to the trails, so i spent all day shopping with the wife. hopefully the insurance will give me a full size truck to drive while i wait for repairs. right now they have me scheduled for a sm./medium car.
Thats a bummer man. At lease you weren't hurt and the damage is minor. They'll have you fixed up like new and you'll be able to get back to your wheel en in style.
talking about stupid drivers, had encountered the stupidest just yesterday.

two lanes my side, and one to the left at an intersection separated by double yellow line. lady pulls next to me on my left at the red light (im already in the far left turn lane) stopping on the wrong side of the road thinking she's in the turn lane! cars waiting on her to move so they can go through since it's only one lane in the opposite direction and she's busy on her cell phone oblivious to where she is waiting on my light to turn green!!! guy behind me starts honking to get her attention so i join too. and what do i get as a response? the biggest boldest middle finger ever while she stares straight still waiting for the light to turn green. nothing happens after it turned green, no accidents thank god, just her realizing afterwards where she was after the awkward quick left turn.

some people are so unbelievable i swear. wish i took out my cell phone to record her but i'd only be just as bad as her using a phone on the road.
i'll be more than happy to illustrate for those having a tough time picturing this. just ask :)
oh yeah, almost forgot. sorry that happened...hope you get that bumper fixed!

Sorry, but that one cracked me up. We take our Titans everywhere! I really need to go back to sleep...:upsidedow

An OEM bumper and having it put on, and some touchup piant. I'd guess you're into 1,200 max. likely 700. At an independent shop. Insist on OEM if possible. Some vehicles body parts are not available aftermarket for awhile.
bummer. hope u get it fixed soon.
mine got a nice dent in the front bumper this summer from a lady who was blind, deaf and no hablar!
took about a week for the shop to fix my Titan up!
got the call today and total cost of repair is $2,500. now just waiting on the review for who pays what percent. i already told the agent Im not paying anything, why should i pay a dime if i followed the rules.

As you described it you smacked him. My wife did a similar thing and although we know she was correct, we got charged with the accident as her fault.
So I had to pony up $500 for the deductible because some A-hole 17 year old lied to the police even though my kids told the cop he changed his story.
Fortunately his POS car was totalled and he now walks because the money he received ($1200)won't get him a new car and his parents won't either. We beep and wave to him when we see him.
Fortunately my insurance won't raise my premium because of it.
Good luck!

well they called me and told me his side wasnt paying %100, so i have to open my own claim to cover the difference. since we are both allstate, the deductables were waived, no difference on my premiums, so basically from my understanding i still dont have to pay for anything

What percentage are you being charged with? How long is it held against you. My compant told me 12 months without my wife making a claim and it disappears.

not sure yet on percent, my agent called me late to let me know what was going on, suppose to call in the morning, he did say no matter what my premiums won't change, and the deductables have been waived. and depending on what is said in the morning, i might have to make a call to my lawyer, Ill be damned if by me following the rules of the road, and i have to pay, Im not gonna be happy
