Idler Pulley

227 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Roush
Drove the truck today and noticed the idler pulley isn't happy about this cold weather and is squealing in protest.

Went to the NAPA to purchase a new one, they don't have one. Looked it up on Nissan parts and it seems I can buy every part of the pulley so I was thinking about purchasing just the bearing for the pulley.

Wanted some feed back from those that have replaced said pulley.

Found the pulley at O'Reilly and Vatozone for $50 in stock.

I'm going to buy the whole pulley assembly. It will be easier and faster than just replacing the bearing, I haven't checked the belt yet but might as well replace it just for peace of mind.
