I just wanted to share some of my impressions of Titan, as the experience unfolds for me, five days into ownership...I'm really enamored with this truck, as I've never been with any other new vehicle I've ever owned. Sure, it's fully capable of the heavy duty detail, but it's the built-in FUN factor that really amazes me...the exhaust rumble I love so much, the RF effect on my CD's and the way the captain's chair vibrates under heavy bass, the wide open view from the crew cab, the power itself, the break-away styling that shouts 21st Century through a bullhorn...I never thought a half ton truck could be fun...especially in these quantities.
I finally got to see the Red Brawn in full splendor, in brilliant sunshine, today, briefly as the overcast that had hung over the area since I bought it Friday broke up for a while...what a breathtakingly beautiful piece of sculptured metal the Titan is! The sun cast highlights on all of its curves and angles and really brought it to life. It's a stunning truck!
I took my boss (early 40's, Harley freak) for a spin this afternoon after work, put Titan through it's paces and burned a little rubber...he was amazed! He savored the exhaust rumble as I do...
Despite a lot of negative reports about the interior treatment, I really like it-simple, pleasingly shaded, techno designed, easily cleaned-a frilly interior makes me think 'living room' or Buick Roadmaster...not really suited for this bad boy (the Titan, not me....well, BOTH of us, I guess)
Titan reminds me of the '69 Grand Prix, when Grand Prix was pretty much a wider, more luxurious form of muscle car, a car that showed you could have it all, driving excitement, sharp styling, luxury, and all at a very reasonable price...Nissan has brought those elements together in, of all things, a huge pick up truck!
I love the outrageous size of the Titan and all of the LE features...it all combines to make me bare my soul a little bit in praise of this most incredible truck...Man, I LOVE THIS TRUCK! :upsidedow

Brilliantly put Briarman! You should write for one of these truck mags! I couldn't agree more with you! It feels like you're sitting in such a quality well thought out truck and it drives like nothing else on the road. No comparison! When my girlfriend drives it she tells me of the Ford who tried to race her at the stop light and the GMC (General Malfunction Customers) drooling as they stare at the Beast! :eek2: We had an owner of a brand new Toyota Double cab asking us where we bought our truck when we were fueling up. The look on his face when he saw the Titan, was one of complete envy! He told me if he would have know that the Titans were going to look like that he would have never bought the Toy. He said he was going to do a trade in on a truck that doesn't even have license plates. He must have been dizzy from circling me at the gas station while I was filling up. :ftard: We also love this truck!

Your wives?

Guys, I can't resist. With all of the eloquence and love being expressed for the Titan, I'm wondering if you speak about your wives or GFs in the same way! LOL. They would probably love it if they heard you talking about them the way you are talking about your truck!

Hi, I am Deepwaters GF and we have a beautiful 13 month old daughter. He treats me and her better than his truck! He actually bought it for me to drive so that me and Olivia would be safer than what I was driving in before. I absolutley love driving this truck! He definately gets his drive time in on the Titan though. I can see your point though. They are sooo passionate about this Truck. There have been a few nights that I have had to drag him off of Titan talk so that he could spend some time with me! :computern

I have a strong feeling that we all share the same sentiment concerning our beloved Titans. I also think that we all have a comradarie that others truck owners may not have because we took an educated chance on buying a Titan over the traditional "Big 3". The fact that the Titan lives up to all of the hype and then some doesn't hurt either.

ROFL....this is my wife every night she starts to head upstairs for bed...

It's a little subtle so far --- "Honey, I'm going up...."

Then if I don't show up within 5 mins it's --- "Honey, could you bring me up (Something from downstairs)"

Hence I know when my night online is over....ROFL
