The manual is less than clear on the information cluster. I am assuming that I need to take a trip to the dealer because under the settings, I turn off the 'Ice" alert but the warning still shows. Am I missing something? Second question the manual does not even mentions is under the alert secton. "Time to Rest", I have no clue what this means except that I can enter times in half hour increments. Thanks.

If it matters for the above I have a 08 Pro-X4.

Same thing with mine. I just got used to the icy warning. Have no idea what time to rest means either

Hey man, the "Time to Rest" setting is for road trips, i.e. you can have the truck remind you to take a break from driving every 3 hours or 4 hours depending on what you want, the ICE warning I've never seen it (then again it doesn't get that cold here) I should clarify (I don't get up early enough to see that type of warning ) :hat:
It will show the ice warning when temp. is below 36 or 38 degrees, I don't know which one. My Ford has the samething.

That would make sense but why do they have an option to turn off the "ice" warning if one can't turn it off???

The "time to rest" function is kinda of silly, it's time to rest when I am tired. So lets say I set it for 4 hours but I get real tired after 2 hours of driving, can I stop before the 4 hrs is up? Just kidding, kinda of a silly feature, they should have put pac-man or donkey kong in there.

Mine just turned on at 37 degrees. It was off at 38 degrees.

You're confusing the little "ICY" light with the ice warning. Turn the ice warning back on...you'll see the difference. The warning is a huge, very noticable thing with a chime. You can't get rid of the tiny ICY light though.
