The code is the only thing that will give you any indication as to whether or not it's your CAI that's tripping the SEL light. Without that code, we'd all just be guessing. Generally, I haven't heard of the Injens tripping the SEL though.
Injen CAI and Check Engine Light?
I have a 2007 CC and recently installed at Injen CAI. I've had it in for about a month or so and have had no problems. I noticed this morning on my way to work that the CEL came on. I had it come on before I had the CAI and it was the gas cap. I tightend it and after about 10 minutes it went off. I was wondering if anyone had any issues with the Injen and the CEL. I figure I'll go to a parts store and borrow a code reader to see what it is. Do you think if it is something other than the gas cap, should I take the CAI off before I take it to the dealer for service?

I've had mine for about 6 months with no issues whatsoever.
I have an 07 with Injen CAI and I haven't gotten any codes.
