Everyone has a different opinion on intakes. Do a search on the site and you will find numerous threads on CAI's. I have the Injen, and while it did improve the performance I'm not sure it was by 28hp.
when you say the s&b was the best, do you mean it put up the best numbers?sligsta said:The injen looks hot, I had one on my Altima and it was. I don't think it's worth $350 though. Someone did a comparrison on clubtitan at the track and it had comparable #'s to the others but it seemed the S&B was the best. At only 213 shipped I think it's the best bet and will be my next purchase.
Yes, he got the best E.T. in the 1/4 with the S&B. But I think there might have been something else different as well. There's a sticky about it on CT.20TexasTitan08 said:when you say the s&b was the best, do you mean it put up the best numbers?
That doesn't mean it was best or gained the best. It could've been that one car runs faster then the other (dyno's more hp to begin with). It could also mean the driver was better then the other driver.sligsta said:Yes, he got the best E.T. in the 1/4 with the S&B. But I think there might have been something else different as well. Yes, I realize all that, if you follow the link I posted all that was pretty clear.EVO8 said:That doesn't mean it was best or gained the best. It could've been that one car runs faster then the other (dyno's more hp to begin with). It could also mean the driver was better then the other driver.
The best results should be two equally stock Titans or same mods go head to head on a dyno (before the CAI's and after the CAI's for the best results). Or just take one Titan and dyno it stock then vs the Injen and then the S&B. Those are better results.
