Is it loud in the cab at hiway speed?

Not at all. I was even surprised by that.

 

I just had my exhaust done (again) with a Flowmaster 50 dual in / dual out
and had it come out before the back tire with two black 3.5" tips, like the Ford Lightning. I also had the resonators removed so it's 2.5" all the way back into the tips. The sound is exactly what I wanted and the performance is also there.

 

I've got the same thing, 50 series dual in / dual out with an x-pipe up front. sounds great, and I have yet to get annoyed with it. I've had it over a year now, and my only regret might be that it isn't loud enough - BUT I'M YOUNG!

 

Cool. Sounds like some very nice setups. Now if only I knew how to post pics. I have the tips coming out behind the wheels with rectangular tips. Looks killer. Didn't want the tips coming straight out the back because that's what all the Dodge and Chevy guys have.

I like my 50 series duals as well. I do wish it was a little louder though.

 

now I'm looking at it, when you guys say 50 series, is it regular 50 or 50 SUV ?? there also is the one called 50 HD. which one is the way to go??
I think I'm going to the shop to install the FlowMaster for my 05 CC. :rockon cant wait hear the sound !!

I have the 50 SUV. Called Flowmaster and they recommended this muffler for the Titan. Sounds really good just wish it was louder.

 

thanks PENROSE, I just cant decide that I should go with 50 series or 40 since most people say 50 series is "not" loud enough....... :upsidedow would the 40 series be too loud??

I just came back from the shop w/regular 50 FM installed. wow it sounds nice !! :clap:
I wanted to make it dual but the guy at the shop said it's gonna be $350 including the labor fee, it was out of my budget.......so what I went up with is regular 50 single in/single out with stock exiting pipe(that's big enough!).
