I was just curious, and Greg if you read this go ahead and give your opinion, on how much it should cost to install a 7" CST lift. I called around, shop after shop, and nobody even knew what CST was (HAHA!!) and so of course I won't let them install it if they didn't even know what CST lift is. I ended up calling the last shop on the list, the shop I knew could do it but is pricey, and they said they charge $65 an hour and it will average 10-14 hours. So for being the only shop in the area that knows how to install it, is $655-$910 a decent price for installation?

Thx ahead of time.

Mantis is right, it shouldnt be any more than 6 hours. The CST kit should install like any other cradle lift. If they have some suspension intallation experience they will probably have a smile after they install it because everything fits so well. Different areas will cost more than others. No more than $700.00. At the shop i use to work at people wouldnt even flinch at a $600.00 installation cost.

Figure a full day is what they will charge...8 hours. That kit requires a bit of cutting and a bit of welding (the welding can be done later actually). Otherwise, its an easy kit to install. Your rear shocks come assembled, so no bushings to press in or out, the CST sway bar endlinks are by far the easiest to install. Keep in mind that Yellowmantis had rear springs and UCA also.
