Whats so bad about the cheap generic intakes on ebay going for like 50-60 vs something like the nismo for 300. I would figure they are pretty much the same thing.. aside from maybe the filter... right?

You're pretty on point. Just about anything will outflow stock piping. Just buy you a better filter, those have been known to come apart and get sucked into the engine!!!!

Watch ebay. I know a guy who just got a great deal on a NISMO intake on ebay! He didn't pay anywhere near $300 for it! They happen. You just have to watch for them!
