I have a problem with the interior lights in my truck, when I turn on the truck the radio display and the instrument cluster are illuminated but as soon as I turn on the headlights all the interior lightning dies the instrument cluster tha radio display and the gear shift selector, does anybody alse has this problem? Or what the problem could be?

Check if any of your parking or dash lights are out, this may be the reason. It has happened to me in one of my cars and license plate light was out, it caused the similar problem .

The radio and dash lights are supposed to dim when the parking or headlamps are turned on. Try rotating the brightness wheel to the left of the steering wheel to make it brighter.

Agree with the above posts - check the brightness wheel. Should be located on your headlight stalk I believe.

I did I checked that but its not the dimmer thing, I think its called the rheostat, or it might be burned out you guys think this could be the reason

So when you mess with the dimmer nothing at all happens? Yeah - I'd say burned out. Got.Warranty?

Nope no warranty its an 04, I checked on nissanpartscheap.com and its about $64. Man thats expensive
