Over weekend went to a Firestone Dealer in DFW area. Always have had good luck with Interstate Battery. They installed a Interstate MT24F. After I got home that night looking at invoice and noticed it was different than I had replaced almost six years ago, which was a MTP24F. Only difference is the letter "P".

Called them and they sain bring it back in. I did on Sunday morning and, after an hour they said it was ready to go. Checked the Battery and they had installed same battery MT24F. Battery is as you can see different. Question have I messed up elect. system by cranking the truck about 5 times. Say the least will not be going back to Firestone. They finally did install correct MTP24F.

1) why are you double posting?
2) given you live in DFW...you should be running the MT not the MTP (for COLD climates)

Lol.

Only difference is the cold cranking amps. No damage can be done no matter which battery you install. Do people not really know this stuff?
