I just sent them an email to see if he is looking into dash kits... I haven't measured the dash to see if it will fit like the F150... but I'm down. However, with the iPads (if I'm not mistaken..similar to iphone, unless you jailbreak it) you have to be linked to wifi to do facetime... and the gps function/pandora, etc are dependent upon signal strength you could be SOL at times. If garmin makes a kit to plug into the iPad2 like the iphone for GPS, this will be the new wave. forget the in dash screens...buy an iPad and load everything from your computer straight to it and slide it in....unbelievable.

The ipad 3g has built in gps, so you can use google maps or maybe buy tomtom?

I would really like to do this.... but where the ipad home button is on the bottom instead of the side... I guess it would be vertical instead of horizontal..

There's always a Ram Mount. I've got this set up for my iPhone in my truck, and am trying to find a charging cable long enough that I can run it up there with the wiring going to the mirror.

That one is nice, but my buddy I used to compete against back in the day has him covered in my opinion...lol. BUT I will say that Dave had an advantage because he had a recessed area that was larger than the ipad.
