it's there to hook up anything that plays sound out via mini-plug. like your mp3 player/ipod/phone
Iphone hookup
I have a 05 Titan LE. I would like to hook up my Iphone to be hands free. I've seen the FM transmission phone holders, but is their a better way. Can I hook it up using my AUX input on the dash and use my remote control radio. Sort of like bluetooth...but not. I know they make a cable that comes out of the top of the Iphone with a built in mic. Any help or knowledge on this subject would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to mess anything up. I've never used the AUX input for anything and not even sure why it's there.
