Iron Cross HD Step Bars

So I was about to order the Nfabs black textured and came across the Iron Cross HD Step Bars...what do you guys think of these as something different to go with than the NFabs? I kinda think they look bad a$$!

I looked at these , however without the pre runner bumper and fender flares they kinda look out of place imo.

They truly set a statement but can also stick out like a sore thumb.

I did! Im really diggin' the design on these! They're about the same price as the NFabs but seems like everyone has those so I'm going out of the norm

Good for you! I like the angular design plus I've heard multiple members mention how the NFabs rust after a short time.

Agree on the angular design. I think that's what caught my attention! Also, it sits pretty high on the body to where there's almost no gap between the body and the bar. I've also heard and been told about the rusting

That's a big part of what I like about these steps also, nice and close to the body.
These are what I will go with when I finally pull the trigger on steps if I don't go with the amp research steps.

Those Amps would be nice but $1k+ is a bit too steep for me. Cheapest price I could find on the Iron Cross shipped is $400. I would like to figure out what I can use to paint the step plates black tho? Any ideas?

You get them 400 from TAP?

If you can take the plates off (unscrew them maybe?) you can probably find a local powder coating shop to do them. That's the best way to keep them preserved and rust free.

I was just thinking the same thing. I assume you can unscrew the step plates and maybe powder coat them in a textured black.

Got them from here. $445 but with the coupon code listed you get an additional 10% off which comes to $400.

Iron Cross HD Steps Nissan Titan Crew Cab 2004-2015

When I get them I'll look at the step plates. I'm sure they can be removed. I wonder if I can just spray a bed liner on them? Or get it done professionally?

I would suggest powder coating. I used the rattle can spray bedliner on my fender flares and yeah it's ok, but I don't think it'd stand up to getting stepped on day in and day out. When my wheel came off it tore some chunks off the fender paint (5 layers) and I had to sand down and completely re-spray.

i'm looking at it more and i may just leave it as it'll compliment the silver/chome accents on the Fuel Hostage's. i'll see what it looks like when it all comes together.

They just came in! These things are BEAST! The texture look looks really good and that fact the black is matte and not gloss is what I wanted! They should match my Fuel Hostages that are coming in! so glad I did these instead of the NFabs! Construction wise very well made and solid! Built in AMERICA!
