Boy o Boy do I remember waiting for my ordered Titan to arrive. It took a lot of :read:, :gossip: :( :wtf: :crying: & :rollingey but it finally arrived after 6 weeks.

I had an order # and even my VIN # after only 2 weeks though.........:paranoid:

When I ordered mine, my salesman wasn't able to give me any info except to say that on average it takes 2-3 months for delivery. Even a week or two before it finally arrived he didn't have any idea when it would come or even if Nissan had started building it yet. But rest assured, it was delivered to my dealership almost 3 months exactly after my order date.

It was VERY difficult to be patient and not bail on the deal, but in the end it was worth it. It's tough I know, but I'd stick it out if I were you.

If they forgot to order it, I would start talking to other dealers. What other things are they gonna forget when you bring your truck in for maint/service, etc...

You are giving them a lot of your money so you should expect the best service. They will probably order it now and tell you its all set but they gave you the wrong number. Then when it shows up 2 months late they will just blame it on the manufacturer, still claiming they ordered in Nov.

Why did you order it instead of buying off the lot? What configuration wasn't available? Good luck, I'm sure it's on the way.

Traded my dodge, which BTW looked a lot like yours, for the Titan. never looked back.

Wait on the Titan, the Dodge wouldn't compare.

Wow, this thread brings back memories...

My purchase was a nightmare, the dealer said the factory would not take an order for a Red Alert with Graphite/Titanium when I wanted to order. Eventually after several calls to the factory and forcing an order through the system things started to move forward.

The final kicker though was once the truck was built and it was shipped up north. You see my truck was lost and my delivery was well over a month late. During the time the truck was lost I was calling the dealer almost every day asking WTF is going on and they could not tell me anything.

Basically my truck was one of the 1st ones loaded onto a train, the only problem was when the train was unloaded so my truck could come the rest of the way on truck, someone forgot to take it off the train. My Titan got a nice train ride around the country before someone finally figured it out. Let's see, ordered in March, took delivery in July...

All of the dealerships I dealt with in CA stated consistently that Nissan USA does not allow for ordering of cars or trucks. They basically told me if a dealer says they are ording a specific truck its just a lie and that dealers have to wait for the spec'd truck to be built then reroute the delivery to their dealership. If they don't reroute they have to dealer trade!!! Essentially it is up to the dealership to check for your specs to become available and to grab it before any other dealership does. So if your dealer is slow or not looking consistently you are in for a long wait. You can always find the truck first by using the Nissan USA website and putting in zip codes through out your state and looking at all the dealers one by one within xx miles. I found my truck this way before it was even delivered from the factory to a dealer in Northern CA but it was too late to reroute to my dealer in Central CA and so they had to dealer trade. Good Luck!
