mine runs about half gauge but I use 5W-30 instead of the recommended 0W-20
Interesting. I would think higher viscosity = higher pressure not lower. I'm running 0w20 till the warranty is up.

I dont think there is any issue. Just curious.

If the dealership changes your oil you get what they put in so pay attention if so. They put 5w30 in mine and I was ecstatic. 0w-20 burns between changes if using the truck hard ime

I do my own changes and document it carefully. So I just blindly follow the manual.
I also top it off once between changes. I drive like a grandma.

5w-30 all the way since 10k… Never changed the positioning of the “digital” oil psi gauge…

Ask me in 100k miles if the decision was a good one or not…
