I had a similar issue when I drove my truck off the lot, halfway home the dash lit up, tried disconnecting the battery and other tricks with no avail. I ended up driving back to the dealership where they were able to reset the something, not sure what, and no lights since. The only light I had was for vdc off, maybe the abs, I can't recall now

You can try to clear any codes that are present.

Turn the key to "run", wait 3 seconds.
Fully depress and release the accelerator 5 times in 5 seconds or less.
Wait 7-8 seconds, then hold it to the floor for 10 seconds.
The cel will begin to flash. Do not count the slow flashes, only the fast ones.

The process will repeat until you either turn the key off or start the engine. If you wish to erase the codes you can hold the pedal down for ten seconds more.

Here is a reset procedure for ECU...I had VDC/SLIP lights on after changing my clockspring. This procedure did NOT correct that issue, but it may correct some of the other problems you are having. IF your VDC light does not go off, you will have to have someone with CONSULT compatible scanner reset the applicable sensors for the system. My VDC/SLIP stayed on for 6 months and never reset itself - none of the "tricks" worked on it. A local shop turned it off in a matter of a minute by re-calibrating the Steering Angle Sensor - they didn't even charge me.

PS - I should add, that the procedure in the youtube link puts the computer into diagnostic mode (just prior to performing the last step) - the CEL will blink out a code - you count the fast flashes and the next digit is after the long flash. I believe it is supposed to be 4-digit error codes you can then look up.

OK: I will say that I had these same kinds of symptoms, and more, with my truck and tried everything that seemed reasonable - had the battery tested, replaced relays, etc. Ultimately I said the hell with it and put in a new battery. Solved all the problems. I don't trust battery testing equipment at auto places or simple 12v reads.
