When I was looking at this item at my local dealer I saw that it was anchored to the seat pivot mount. If you look closely at the photo you will see a narrow black strip of light gage metal that attaches to the seat pivot.
The material of the bins themselves is pretty flimsy, but most likely solid enough for general use.

Do you have a better picture of that bin?

I am seriously thinking about these bins, but those "bigger pics" are still way too small for me to spend that kind of money. Do you have any big detailed pics? Thanks, they look really nice but I can't see what is on the front it almost looks like a net? And I'm just not sure if it is one big mold or two, I'm not sure I would like one long model as the seat is up behind me almost all the time and I would not want to loose all that floor space.

BTW, now that it is not March what's the price?
