I have the IPT valve body upgrade, perf rebuild kit, and hi stall trq convertor.
Have no complaints so far except that the 3400 stall is a little high. Maybe should have gone with a 3200 rpm. Anways,
Spent 4 hrs on the dyno yesterday so thought I should dump the engine and tranny oil. Am running Amzoil 0-30 synthetic in the engine and Amsoil low vis synthetic in the tranny. Anyone had any problems with this???

Yeah this thread needs to be revived.

Level 10 can build this transmission (RE5R05A) using Raybestos and Exedy clutch packs/frictions. Modified fluid pump, upgraded valve body. So on and so forth along with some proprietary stuff.

Anyway, how neat would it be to have full transmission tuning over the RE5R05A with of course a standalone system which has been used in the past by some truck racing teams. So we know its works.

Stay tuned for more details about the PCM-2000 by powertrain control solutions. Its been around for years, but it was only designed to work with certain valve body.

Controlling full converter lock up, shift points, line pressures, etc etc.
