Hey guys, I just bought the JBA exhaust from performancecenter.com for $388 including tax and free shipping. I've been reading reviews on the exhaust and it seems like a lot people like it. I've also been noticing around forums about buying the "Y" pipe separate? This kit that I bought, (http://www.performancecenter.com/pr...400/Nissan/2005/Titan/5.6L/Crew+Cab/Short+Bed) says "Cat back exhaust". It should include the "Y" pipe right?? I couldn't imagine the part coming in without the "Y" pipe. When people mention the "Y" pipe separate, is it another higher performance Y pipe??? Thanks in advance.

What you have is the complete exhaust. Just bolt it on and tac-weld the slip joints and you'll be ready to rumble

Your exhaust comes with the y pipe. I havent heard of using a different one. I can't imagine why you would. The exhaust is great as is. Install is super easy. Took me about 45 min. Enjoy it:smoke:

Hey, that's alot guys. I feel much better now. I had the banks monster exhaust for almost a year until to took it off a few months ago. The biggest mistake I ever did of my life. That exhaust was really loud. Everyone still talks about it, "yeah, we can hear you a mile away". I wish I never got rid of it. I would get another banks exhaust but the price is still up there. I bought the JBA because of the price. Looks like I got a real good exhaust for a real good deal. Thanks again.

I am now comtemplating swapping the K&N Glasspack that came with the JBA cat back system for a Flowmaster 50 SUV to make deeper tone and eliminate the glasspack poppy sounds. My JBA sounds poppy and raspy. Possibly because I dont have the CAI yet. I am a picky person, i miss my mustang flowmaster sound.

Poppy and Raspy? That's strange, not like that at all with mine. Sounds great at all RPMs. Perhaps the CAI helps.

I put the JBA exhaust on and love it but never got it tack welded...think that could cause problems?

This swap was the best thing I could have done, I love the new sound! There is virtually no drone in the cab, but plenty of rumble outside. My truck sounds great now.

My drone issues may have been amplified by my bed cover which may act like a drum. Either way, now it sounds awesome!

I was thinking of getting the 22" or 18" Magnaflow, but y'all are getting me interested. Especially if there isn't any drone and noise in the cab. I drive too many highway miles every week to tolerate that.

Mudfinder, did you get it installed yet?

I just got the exhaust system this afternoon. Took forever, but finally. I'll install it thurs. I have a question for those of you with the JBA. Does your JBA muffler say K&N??? The muffler that came has the K&N logo on it. What's with that?? The tip looks good. Can't wait to install it.

Yes, the muffler is actually a K&N glasspack.

Besides the sound difference is there any performance gains by doing this swap? I am 75% performance & 25% sound when it comes to exhaust systems, so I am curious about this change.....

I just noticed today that autoanything.com is not listing any JBA exhaust for the titan anymore! I wonder why?
