Well my motor mounts were bad when my motor was replaced so I got new ones but what they failed to tell me is that my transmission mount was bad and that it had stripped out the mount hole so now I have a wore out transmission mount and the holes in the transmission are stripped out if I helicopter tap them will it fix it and not wear the mount out again or do I need traction bars too?????
Jerk when letting off pedal
Hello everybody I'm trying to figure out what is going on with my truck. It is giving a jerk when I release the gas going at any speed like it is downshifting but it isn't. I'm trying to figure out what it is l. I out a new motor in about three weeks ago and it never did this before I have new motor mounts and everything. I'm trying to figure the problem out and hoping it's not the tranny I can't take another big hit like I did with the motor. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Heli coil the stripped holes and get a prg trans mount....that should be a permanent fix. Traction bars are always a nice add but imo not necessary unless you're lifted over 3"
