Why does your 1500D put out as much power as 2 1000/1 amps and draw less amps in the process?sundownz said:I have been hearing of quite a few random channel failures on the JL "slash" series amps, something to be weary of especially if you are not buying authorized.
You got to be f-ing kidding me! That's like a $600 price difference!P-Dizzle said:The 1000D retails for $399.00. Email James for pricing...
That is one of the reasons why you always hear us say, "nice product but way overpriced" when anyone asks about JL Audio. If you could get the 1000/1 for say 500 bucks then it would be more reasonable. JL has a great name and everyone knows them, they do have good products they are just priced wayy to high.Yellomantis said:You got to be f-ing kidding me! That's like a $600 price difference!
1100W RMS @ what? 1,2, or 4 ohm load? I have 2 4 ohm subs I want to run off it.P-Dizzle said:1000D is still a better amp. Puts out about 1100 RMS of clean power and has a very small footprint.

Sweet. Then I can bridge the subs and use the 600W rating AND keep the gains down to keep the amp cooler.ecrawford said:1000 x 1 watts @ 1 ohm

JL's put out over a 1000 from 1.5 throughout 4 ohms. One of the nice features as far as flexibility.
