So got a couple questions.

What is the difference in size between the under seat sub box for the KC and the CC?

Also, Any opinions on the JL 12TW3 shallow mounts subs? A waste for under the rear seat?

I have a CC but someone is selling 2 JLTW3 shallow mount subs mounted in a KC under seat box for $500

Any opinions?

I have 1 of the 10s and I really like it. I don't know the exact measurements, but I know I had 2 12s under my kc back seat and the box stuck out quite a bit from under the seats.
Was the box made for a KC or CC? Some site lists them independently and other list them for both.

Is your 10 under the rear seat or the front seat?

My box is actually for an f150. I modified it to fit. It's under the back seat of my 15 CC (it's only under drivers side). When I had my 06 KC, I bought a box off of eBay (2-12s), they said it would fit under both. They showed a picture of it in the truck, but it must have been a CC, because it didn't tuck under like the picture. It really ate up the leg room, but I don't ride in the back seat. I really don't know if there are different seats in the KC vs CC, I would have to guess no, maybe just more leg room with the CC. My issue with that set up was I needed a box with more cubic feet for the subs than I had bought. They sounded ok, but not like they should have. The jl shallow mount's need way less space. I think it sounds better and maybe louder with the single 10 and the right size box pushing way less power to it. I'm pushing 300 watts rms at 2 ohms now, my last setup was about 800 watts rms at 4 ohms.

Thanks. I was looking at buying a box and then Kickers, cost wise it's a little cheaper but this setup seemed like a good deal for the price. How well does the F150 box? A lot of modification needed? Haven't seen any local Titan boxes but there there are a few other truck boxes. Not sure how well they'd fit or how much would need to be modified to work.

Not too much modding really was for a much smaller space. Added a spacer made from wood to raise it up to level it for the hump below the back seat. It would have thrown right into the floor had I not done something. Now it has room to move. I got the box and sub for $65 so I can't complain.
