Brand new crew cab dark blue. Just came out of a 07 hemi 2wd quad cab. Im a contractor and am always in the dirt and mud off and at work. Heres some initial impressions since the truck only has 600 miles on it and is a week old.

Ride is acceptable for a 4wd truck with the rancho shocks, but rides a little rougher then the 2wd i came out of obvioulsy which i perfer.
it handles payload well "1000+ pounds" for a half ton and stops it well.
brakes are pretty good. lots of torque!!!! little light on the HP.
Gas mileage is absolutely crap! lol average 50-50 city freeway at 70 mph 14mpg
rockford fosgate sound system is the business!! love it
love the layout and the comfort of the pro with buckets.
could use more oranization in the huge centerconsole its just deep and nothing in it to seperate items.
i carry alot of misc stuff, straps, jumper cables, chains, gloves, tools etc and all wont fit into the side box and with the 5 1/2 foot bed i cant spare for room with a box, so i am going to build some sort of organizing system ill take pics and post.
love the utilitrack system but havent put it to hard use yet. seems like it will hold up fine.
took her offroad and climbed some retarded steep stuff and with the truck in 4lo and the lock dif on i walked up it no sweat was very very impressed.
truck seems much better built and quality parts used. no rattles. everything seems put together tight.
some issues.
passenger seat shakes while driving dealer said its because it folds down to make a table top and has a 2 joint system and they cant fix it they all do it.
small buzz coming from a panel right next to left ear when sterio is on i have to hunt that down. other then that everything rocks.
reason why i bought the titan is because i had bad experiences with fords in the past, old and new, the tundras bed flex issue is just stupid and the chevy felt cheesy and didnt fit me. I loved my dodge but i dont like the rear coil suspension of the new ones, and i just didnt want to get a 3rd ram.
the main factor was the price. got a huge 10k off msrp on the titan, and i have friends that have them and they said they love their trucks.
very stoked i found this forum. :redblob"

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on the new ride! They make an underseat storage bin that is highly useful. I have mine almost full, passenger side I carry all my ratchet straps and a set of 3/8's sockets, Middle I have a pair of coveralls folded up, and the driver side I have breaker bar, socket, socket adapters, pliers, a large craftsmen adjustable wrench, 2 tow straps, hitch, pin and 4 way power adapter, jumper cables, a pair of gloves, and an airhose for the air compressor I just finished installing. The more you drive it, the more your going to love it!

couple of things about what you said.
there is a guy on here selling an organizer tray for the center consle, i didn't get mine yet. but he has a pic posted somewhere.

you can get an underseat storage thing to put under the rear seat and you can store all kinds of stuff in it. it is awesome.

about the tool box, you can get one, and buy a bed extender, it will make the bed about the same with the storage of a toolbox.

also nissan sells some sort of a bed sliding organizer. i'll see if i can find you links to everything i talked about :)
http://www.nissan.ca/vehicles/trucks/titan/en/accessories.html

i don't know why the US site does not have the sliding bed tray, but the canada site has it, as well as all the accessories you might need.

i hope this helps.

welcome to the club bro :)

Welcome! the shaking seat is kinda annoying. And ya, there is alot of space under the rear seat for a storage thing to hold your stuff. The utilitrack is so awesome, you'll love it. btw i have a recall out on my ac compressor? condenser? i forget, so you might get one too.

Congrats welcome to the club. Best 1/2 ton on the road in my opinion, quality in the interior is great my seat rattles too. This people in this forum have all kinds of ideas and little things to do to your T. I have had my truck for 3 years now and have just started really modding mine, but Good Luck hope your T does as good for you as mine has!!!

When you get the funds, look into getting a programmer like the BD PP or the BD GT. The "little light on the HP" feeling will go away once you get rid of the stock WOT restriction. It'll be a whole new different truck then....:D

You have made a great choice

These trucks are beasts and this site is awesome, good people and awesome info resource.

As mentioned, Nissan makes a storage box for the rear seat, I just made one from 3/4 ply and a can of black paint that I had. Otherwise I would have bedlined it...

They no longer sell the Power Pup. They just have the BDGT now. Just FYI

Congrats on the Truck! yea - seat shakes, and so do rear windows (rattle) when down all the way....

Otherwise - wouldn't trade it for any of the others... and at 10K off sticker its a great buy!

Only thing that concerns me about a programer is mpg and warranty. I drive 500 miles a week average sometimes more. Def gonna do an exhaust system don't really believe in air intakes unless your modding heavy doesn't seem worth the $.

The stock exhaust on my '11 Pro-4X sounds really good to me. I'm not sure I'd want to change it out for fear of ruining the low-drone, deep growl that it has under throttle.

Wrong....you can still purchase a brand new Power Pup from Burt///man Industries for $339.00, $60 less than what the BDGT typically goes for.

Bully Dog no longer supports the Power Pup, but it costs less than the BDGT and does the same thing performance-wise. With the GT, I think you can advance the timing 1* more and adjust the throttle sensitivity and it has some nifty LCD screen features. However, none of those added items (gimmicks) increase performance over the basic Power Pup.

You'll get better mileage because you'll be able to advance the timing a few more degrees and get rid of the 40 mph WOT restriction. The warranty won't be a concern because the programmer does nothing that would adversely affect the powertrain.

Getting a new exhaust system would be a waste of money unless you do more mods. The 07-11's have a pretty good optimized exhaust straight from the factory with only the muffler that could be improved upon. Most just do a Magnaflow muffler swap and call it a day. A cold air intake system will be a no brainer if you change out the exhaust. And, if you get a new exhaust and a CAI, why would you still want to be driving around with WOT restriction enabled and 0* timing advance? Seems like a step backwards to me unless you wanted to keep it 100% stock, which by the new exhaust comment, you're apparently not.

Like I said before, the programmer will wake up the truck and make it a lot more fun to drive. Just because you have a programmer doesn't mean you have to race it around at WOT all the time. I have the Bullydog PP with no other mods except a Fram freeflow air filter and I'm glad I got it. The removal of the 40 mph WOT restriction alone was well worth it.

Thanks for your technical imput. I build houses and remodel them, i am not a mechanic. Retarded timing one degree plus WOT? What is WOT? doesnt make any sense to me, like the spring angle and what angle to bevel the saw on a rake when u install crown moulding probably makes no sense to you. I like the way my flowmaster on my old hemi sounded. i didnt notice any power gains seemed to help MPG a little they took off i think 2 cats and replaced the muffler. there was a recall on one of the cats and made a horrible drone buzzing sound and the new one didnt fix the problem thats why i added it, and i thought it was bad ***. if it wouldnt effect my warranty and it would help MPG i would get a programmer? what is the 40 MPH situation your talkin about?
