Hey guys, im looking for some answers about these spindles i just picked up, i got them super cheap off craigslist, but ive noticed a couple things about them...

First thing i saw was the steering arm thats welded on, looks beat to hell, definitely someone beat it with a hammer, why i have no idea? Clearance or trying to get the tierod out maybe? Im going to have to plate it and hope the actual tie rod point hasnt moved.

The next thing i noticed might be something completely normal that CST did, but im not sure, it has 2 welds that hold the brake caliper ear on. Now this is on both spindles, so it makes me thing its like that from CST, but it screams that its broken off once and been rewelded... Theres only a weld on the front side, not the back side though...

The last thing i noticed is one of them looks like the bottom balljoint mount is bent or tweaked? Not sure about this one...

Either way im going to use them. Might even use them to draw up some spindles for a future LT kit i have in mind...

Yeah, ill be doing some modification to them, i want to double shear the tie rod mount as well. I figured for $300, i couldn't beat it?

There are imitation spindles out there that are built to look identical to CST. That unfortunately looks like it may be one. Welds and material quality is the easiest way to tell. If you search "CST knock off or CST imitation spindle" a lot of info will come up on it.
